Floor protection film for the dog bowl

Our floor protection film can also be used perfectly for the dog bowl, so you can protect the feeding place from lime stains and swelling wooden floor!

Use

You should clean the area around the bowl well, but make sure that the floor is completely dry afterwards. If there is still moisture, the floor protection mat will not stick properly and the glue may turn white. So it is best to clean the area one day and then apply the film the next day. Depending on the size of the dog, you can decide how large the area have to be. In case of heavy “slobbering” a slightly larger area should be covered. Floor protection film for the dog bowl cam be used for little and of course big breeds of dog.

The application itself is actually quite simple: You have to remove the backing paper at one corner and then spread the film on the floor.

Tip

The bowl is often placed in tiled rooms, where it does not seem necessary to protect the place at first. But after a while you will notice that lime stains appear on the tiles, which are very difficult to remove. Here you can also use our foil, because it is easier to clean. However, it is very important that you only apply the foil to the tiles without joints, as the foil cannot be applied without gaps in the joint and water can penetrate there. You can easily and individually adapt the floor protection film for the dog bowl to the tiles or the surface. You can order the foil in the appropriate size, but you can also cut it to size yourself. The foil is only 0.3 mm thin and can be cut with normal scissors.

After the ringing

The floor can be used normally, but you should move the dog bowl to another place for the first 24 hours so that the glue can be properly applied and the film can be used without restriction. So you should not wipe the place wet the first day. The film itself is directly waterproof, but no moisture should penetrate the edges.
