The special floor protection film

Just lay out a carpet? Or use a classic floor protection mat? Or perhaps an individual, invisible and safe protection with a special floor protection film?

Individual

The special floor protection film can be ordered individually made to measure and delivered to you already cut to size. Or you can order a piece that you can adapt individually to the place. The special floor protection film can also be cut to size with sharp scissors. As a little help for straight cuts you will find a grid on the backside, which you can use for orientation. The floor protection mat can be delivered with a maximum length of 600 cm and a width of 115 cm.

You can also use the foil for tiles. However, because of the joints, moisture could penetrate under the foil. Therefore, you have to cut the foil to size for each tile and then stick it on. Because even tiles can get scratched or lime stains. These are particularly noticeable with dark tiles. As the film is almost invisible, this additional protection is not negatively noticeable.

Attention

When cutting the floor protection mat to size, you have pay attention to the direction! So, when you mark the recesses, the foil must be on top, if you orientate yourself on the grid, the foil is practically mirror-inverted! Do not be confused! 😉

Invisible

Thanks to the low thickness, the film is hardly visible. The adhesive is applied using a special technique so that air pockets can be pressed out more easily and the adhesive adapts to the substrate after a while. Therefore, the special floor protection film also adapts to smaller unevenness in the laminate or on tiles. As the adhesive must first be properly applied to the surface, the film may initially appear somewhat stained. Therefore we recommend not to walk on the surface for 24 hours after application. It does not matter if it does happen, only the above mentioned stains will appear and disappear again. After 2-4 weeks this effect does not occur at all and the film remains invisible.

In addition, no dirt can get under the film and scratch the floor.

Secure

The film is very robust despite the thin material! The usage temperature is between -5° C and +60° C, so the film can be used in every living room. A big advantage is also the fire behaviour, because it does not burn or glow any further. The special floor protection film is non-slip and the surface does not become smooth even when wet. Due to the anti-slip class R9 it is designed for normal use. The floor can be used normally after application.

For optimal adhesion and distribution of the adhesive under the film, we recommend to let it rest for 24 hours. During this time, no water should get to the edge of the foil, so that moisture cannot get into the spaces between the foil and the floor. When the adhesive is properly dressed (i.e. after about 24 hours), you can use the surface without restrictions, vacuum and wipe. Due to the hardness of the film, rolls of office chairs, shoes with heels or claws of animals are no problem (hardness according to Shore A: 87 ± 3) Thanks to the special adhesive, it can be removed without residue even after a long period of time.

In short: The special floor protection film is very well suited for both private and commercial use. You can use it at home in the hallway, on the patio door, at the dog bowl or litter tray, the possibilities are very versatile. But it can also be used very well for an office, a reception counter or the workshop, the possibilities are versatile here too.

Attention

In order to ensure that the application works without problems and that the adhesive does not come into contact with moisture, the floor should be clean and above all dry.
